I’m the new guy and I’d like to thank all of you for making me feel at home here at Cat Country.
I’ve spent the last 25 years (yes I started when I was 12 lol!) in Country radio and I’m so excited to be a part of this incredible family. I grew up in Chicago and left for Phoenix right out of college… had to get out of the cold weather! I got my first radio job there working for a station owned by the legendary Buck Owens. We got to see him a few times each year. What an incredible person, a very wise businessman and undeniably talented. After 20 years in Phoenix, I had stops in Washington DC and San Antonio, TX. This radio life has been exciting… meeting and getting to know the most talented artists and musicians as well as the best music fans in the world… Country fans! Although the moving has been tough at times, especially for my wife and 3 kids, we hope to have a long and happy relationship with everyone here in the Valley.
